Reviews of my site visits in Dubai

Sofitel Dubai The Palm
The Sofitel the Palm gets a big thumbs up from me! Every

details screams 5* luxury including the dine around options for Half Board. The
bathroom was stocked with Elemis products, loved it!

Ritz Carlton
Fabulous location on the beach near all the nightlife
of The Walk, plus not too far from the shops. The hotel had a sophisticated
elegance without being formal. The pan-Asian restaurant Blue Marlin was
exquisite! Really loved the Ritz Carlton!

Hilton Dubai The Walk
It was really located on the Walk near all the
nightlife and restaurants, however I wasn’t a fan of the reception and communal
areas. They were drab and could do with a bit of freshening up.

JA Palm Tree Court
4* standard for the food and service but the
grounds, pools and rooms feel more like 3* standard. They look very tired and
could do with a refurbishment. The location isn’t great, it is 30 minutes drive
from central Dubai so taxis will add up quickly.

One and Only The Palm
With just 99 rooms, this hotel definitely has
the wow factor. There was no building work anywhere near this hotel. Their
Michelin restaurant is included in the half board dining options so really
great value for money. This was one my favourite of the hotels I saw whilst in
Dubai.

Emerald Palace Kempinski
This hotel certainly looked amazing, everything
was shiny and seemed to be covered in gold! The atmosphere was a little too
formal for my liking but the people who stay here are the richest of the rich.
The clientele are mostly Russian or from UAE.

Caesars Blue Waters Resort
This resort consists of 2 hotels: The Palace
which is their 5* adult focused property, and The Resort which is their 4*
family friendly property. The location is fantastic, just a 15 minute walk over
the bridge to get to the lively Walk area.

One and Only Royal Mirage
Guests are announced with a gong which gives a
special, VIP feeling right from the start. The hotel was super luxurious but
without feeling too formal, perfect for a relaxing holiday! The service was
efficient and non-intrusive. Nothing every seemed too much trouble, and the
staff were all extremely warm and always smiling. The check in service was very
personal with guests being met after they were announced by the gong and taken
straight to their rooms.
