Staying at the Atlantis the Palm Dubai is an experience like no other. Located on the iconic Palm man-made island, the hotel is well placed to explore all Dubai has to offer. 20 minutes in a cab and you’re at the world’s largest shopping centre, the Dubai Mall and the Burj Khalifa. The Atlantis the Palm is a destination in itself though with the wealth of facilities of a big resort while still managing to give the atmosphere of a high end, exclusive hotel. From the fine dining options of Nobu, Hakkasan, and Gordon Ramsey to the Royal Pool which offers breath-taking views of the Dubai cityscape and the Palm every aspect of your stay will afford the utmost luxury. Guests staying on half board will have 8 restaurants to choose from and also have the option to pay a supplement to eat at one of the fine dining restaurants.

Family holidays will be a breeze with a kids club, babysitting services, and complimentary access to the neighbouring Aquaventure Waterpark and Lost Chambers Aquarium. But once your kids see the underwater theatre in the Atlantis Kids Club, they won’t ever want to come home! In the Wavehouse complex there is even more for you to do together as a family with arcade games, bowling, and a family friendly bar with live music.

The rooms are all generous sizes with plenty of room for families or couples and as with the rest of the hotel, the little details that make a stay special have been taken care of. Each room has a professional hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities and the fluffiest towels known to mankind. I stayed in the Imperial Club Room which is well worth the upgrade for the added extras. Imperial Club guests will get free airport transfers, an exclusive section of the Atlantis Beach, and kids club access but the best club benefit is access to the Imperial Club Lounge. The lounge is split over two levels with the ground floor containing a kids hangout zone and upstairs designed to resemble a sophisticated cocktail bar. The club lounge serves free soft drinks all day, as well as afternoon tea, snacks and canapes, and unlimited alcoholic beverages between 5 and 7pm every day. The food served is fantastic, among the items I drooled over were tempura prawns, lamb satay, Italian anti-pasti, and oreo cheesecake.

Another of the Imperial Club Room perks was a complimentary back and shoulder massage at the ShuiQi Spa and boy did I cash in on that! My massage was absolute heaven and much needed after a day of exploring Dubai. The ShuiQi Spa and Fitness Centre has 17 therapists and 27 treatment rooms and offers over 60 different treatments. All of the latest technologies in wellness and skincare are offered here with a mixture of Eastern and Western practices used. One of the most unique experiences offered though is a Hatha Yogaass held in the Lost Chambers Aquarium for the ultimate relaxing atmosphere.

The Atlantis the Palm is a destination within itself and after my stay there I can’t wait to send you there for a fantastic holiday. Click here to book a free telephone consultation with me so I can tell you more about my stay.
